Tin Can Alley: Opening Soon! @tincanalleyabq (TCA) is an 11,000 sqft shipping container complex that houses a brewery, coffee, restaurants, an artisan food gallery & more.

The complex sits west of I-25 at Alameda, at the border of the ABQ Acres West group of neighborhoods, near La Cueva High School. The homes there are mostly brand new & don't often list below $300,000, & a current home is selling for $1,300,000.

The shipping container structures are stacked, Lego-like, & tilted onto each other, creating quite a quirky-industrial scene. Recently I stopped by to check in on the progress & to take photos. A person was up on scaffolding painting one of the murals; otherwise, it was an empty construction site. It's coming along nicely, up & running soon...Images below.

A shipping container project that caught my eye in 2015 is Green Jeans Farmery on Carlisle Blvd immediately north of Interstate 40. That smaller Uptown plaza was also designed by Roy Solomon. The brochure for the project is here.

Solomon, the Project Developer has been creating, building & operating unique & innovative developments since 1976.

Both places are quirky, festive places to visit.
